We solved these problems by designing our arms with increased castor and repositioned the pivot angles reducing stress on the joints. The increased castor allows for proper alignment and improved handling. We have also upgraded the factory ball joints with heavy duty Moog ball joints. For the inner pivots we used durable urethane bushings with grease fittings for easy servicing. All of the components on our upper control arms are rebuild-able or replaceable to make this product last a lifetime. You may also use Tacoma OEM replacement coil overs (Dirt King, King, Fox, Icon) with 1.5” wide lower eyelet spacers with ½” mounting holes, to achieve desired ride height you may need to increase preload or go to a higher spring rate. For the OEM replacement coil overs to achieve proper collapse length you will want to run a 3\/8\" spacer. These shocks will work but limit the amount of wheel travel. The OEM replacement coil overs include reservoir mounts that may not be compatible with our double shear kit option. Our long travel kit is also tabbed to accommodate bypass shocks.  The bypass shocks will allow for superior suspension dampening and tunability. To mount the bypasses we offer a weld on bypass shock hoop kit (DK-811710) that can be purchased separately. The bypass shock hoop kit requires welding and modifications to the frame. For extreme off-roading the kit has the ability to accept bump stops or bypass along with the coil overs.
