The 1996-2004 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid Front Bumper DIY Kit is engineered for off-road enthusiasts who demand durability without compromise. • Most DIY bumper kits require hours of tedious measuring, welding, and grinding. Our laser-cut, press-bent kit with slotted and tabbed edges simplifies assembly, drastically reducing welding and ensuring perfect alignment. You can even tack it together without mounting it.
• Laser-scanned for precision fitment, ensuring accuracy to within 0.005 inches for a superior fit.
• The hybrid design is stronger, lighter and offers the best approach angle of any True North bumper to date, with a bold, aggressive look.
• The frame mounting plate, winch plate, and skid supports are made from 7-gauge HRPO steel, with 3/8” thick steel used for the main vertical supports. Shackle mounts are constructed from 3/8” steel and reinforced with 1.5" OD .250 wall DOM tubing. All other sheet metal components are 11-gauge HRPO steel, and the tubing is 1.75" OD 11-gauge ERW steel.
• Designed around the Warn M8000 winch with a 10" x 4.5" mounting pattern and centered fairlead/spool; other winches with similar sizes may also fit but could require relocating the control box.
• Oversized mounting points and included hardware allow for adjustability to accommodate frame variations, ensuring flexible installation.
• Weighs approximately 80 lbs., with additional weight if grille guard tubing is added.

Important Information:

• THIS IS A DIY (DO IT YOURSELF) BUMPER. Comes as individual pieces, designed for the customer to weld and assemble.
• Not compatible with body lifts without leaving a gap; works with stock height and suspension-lifted vehicles.
• Small surface imperfections, such as minor rust spots or shallow scratches, may be present due to manufacturing and shipping processes.
• Any grille guard tubing will not be pre coped and will be slightly oversized.
• To achieve the strongest and tightest fitment, 2 inches must be trimmed off the front of the frame rails. This modification does not affect frame integrity. After cutting, clean and coat the area with spray paint to prevent rust.
• Designed for 3rd Gen 4Runners and 2001-2004 Tacomas. Tacoma installations require 3/4" spacers (6061 aluminum blocks) and extended M12 hardware, both included.
• Compatible with 1996-2000 models, but fitment has not been tested in-house. These models may have a gap between the bumper and grille, and 1998-2000 models may also require trimming the frame horns.
• Intended for off-road use only.
