Low-drag, weld-in solution for max flex and clearance.
If you're looking to run 63" Chevy springs but don’t want your spring hangers hanging down like a skid magnet, these frenched brackets are the fix. By recessing the hanger into the frame, you keep your profile tight, gain clearance, and still get all the flex that makes 63s such a smart upgrade. It's the clean, low-drag way to get big suspension gains without turning your front hanger into a trail hazard.
They’re designed to be welded in, and yes—you’ll need to cut into the frame. But that’s exactly why they work so well. If you’re already fabbing, think about pairing them with some bushed DOM sleeves out back to french in the shackle hangers too. That’ll drop the rear and give you even more usable flex without compromising strength.
