Our Deadbolt is the ultimate added protection for your 2001-2009 Toyota Prius (Gen 1 and 2) Cat Shield™ and is designed to fit seamlessly with your existing exhaust system without any added hardware. As thieves have become bolder and are finding ways to circumvent vehicles with shields, we've countered them with the Deadbolt. It adds layers of protection against cutting of the front pipe and the unfastening of the spring bolts that hold the converter to the vehicle. Our secure tamper-proof screws are used to protect the spring bolt.
Compatibility: This Deadbolt is an add-on and is NOT a standalone product. It is compatible with our Prius Generation 1 Cat Shield and Prius Generation 2 Cat Shield V1. May require new spring bolts with the installation of this product.
