Flush-mount tab for 1.25"–2.0" tube and flat surfaces
This trick tab provides a simple, flush mounting point on round tube or any flat surface. It works on 1.25" to 2.0" outside-diameter tubing and uses a 1/2" through-hole for common hardware. Use it for clean mounting of lights, panels, clamps, or accessories where a low-profile tab is needed.
Position the tab on the tube, verify alignment and clearance for the fastener and attached part, and then weld in place. Deburr edges and confirm the 1/2" bolt, washer, and nut seat properly without interference. For multiple tabs, mock up all locations before welding to ensure consistent spacing and fit.
