3/8" steel cover with 1/2" ring for Ford 8.8 axles
This Ford 8.8 cover uses a 3/8" plate steel shell bent eight ways and fully welded inside and out to an A50 steel ring. The sealing face is machined flat after welding for a leak-free fit, and the cover is built to handle impacts common to trail use. It fits Ford 8.8 axles found in Explorers, F-150s, Rangers, and various Ford cars.
A 3/4" ID fill plug is positioned about 1" higher than stock to accommodate pinion angle changes and make level checks easier. Hardware is included: 5/16" 12-point bolts with washers, ready for installation. The cover is backed by a lifetime warranty for long-term service.
