If safeguarding your truck bed cargo is a priority, the GAIA truck cap is worth considering. Despite being a newcomer, GAIA Campers' caps have already gained a reputation for durability and reliability. Designed to withstand tough conditions, these caps are constructed to handle various challenges and keep your belongings secure, no matter the weather or surroundings. With their robust construction and commitment to quality, they assure adventurers who want to protect their cargo during journeys.
Toughest Truck Caps
The GAIA truck cap receives acclaim for its sturdy build, crafted from durable stainless steel and coated with a sleek black finish. Designed to endure challenging off-road journeys, it offers better protection than standard bed caps, ensuring your belongings stay secure even in tough conditions.
Accessing your truck bed contents is easy with the integrated gas struts, ensuring smooth opening and closing of the cap. The lid fully opens, making it effortless to load large items from the top and access your rooftop tent. Additionally, the side doors have panels for attaching accessories like outdoor gear or tools, allowing for customization to fit your needs.
For added security, this Colorado/Canyon truck bed cap comes with two locking latches on each door, reinforced by safety glass and steel bars on the windows to discourage unauthorized access. It also features a third brake light and an LED strip for better visibility at night, ensuring safety during driving or camping.
The cap's smart design includes tracks on the lid for additional overhead storage options, maximizing space and keeping your gear organized. Additionally, it includes a removable fabric insert for comfortable sleeping in your truck bed, making it suitable for extended outdoor trips in any weather.
Features:
- Stainless steel fully welded construction for unmatched durability… (No fiberglass to worry about cracking here!)
- Unique pop-top lid for versatility and function. Cover your bed from the elements, but pop open the lid to haul large items, lumber, or that surfboard that doesn’t quite fit.
- Gas strut-assisted side doors allow for hassle-free access to gear that is packed in the back of the camper. No need to unpack your rig just to get at the first item loaded into the bed (provided it is small enough to fit through the side door).
- Mounting panels on the exterior side doors allows you to customize the gear that you are carrying.
- Cap includes an LED third brake light and an interior LED that comes prewired. (The third brake light will need to be piggybacked onto the tail light brake wire; the interior LED will need to be wired to an 'always on' power source, such as vehicle battery or stand-alone battery).
- Use your truck bed as a sleeping compartment/camper without the typical topper low ceiling and claustrophobic feeling.
